Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve consists of 227 acres of Hill Country hiking trails and is a hub for student education and research in Austin. As a local non-profit, they needed a brand identity and signage and wayfinding system that integrated naturally into the rugged landscape.
Wild Basin is a habitat for the endangered Golden Cheeked Warbler. The logo concept combines a representation of the Warbler with some of the area’s native vegetation.
